As part of the HyNet North West Low Carbon Project, Eni will develop and operate offshore and onshore transportation and storage of CO2 captured from industrial sites in Northwest England at the Liverpool Bay offshore oil and gas facilities in line with its mission to transition towards a low-carbon future.
To address potential risks and hazards associated with the project during the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) phase, Process Risk Consulting were commissioned to facilitate a Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) and Safety Integrity Level (SIL) Allocation Workshops, in line with ENI Guidelines for the Protos Pipeline.
The scope of workshop included all of the onshore transport and storage facilities including several onshore pipelines and Above Ground Installations (AGI’s).
