As part of the UK’s target to reach net-zero, e-Alto aims to produce Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) from carbon dioxide and hydrogen made using renewable (decarbonised) electricity.
To address potential risks and hazards associated with the project during the Pre Front End Engineering Design (Pre-FEED) phase, Process Risk Consulting were commissioned to facilitate a Hazard Identification (HAZID) and Environmental Identification (ENVID) Workshops.
The scope of workshop included tie-ins with suppliers of Hydrogen, CO2 and raw water along with specialised vendor processes such as Fischer-Tropsch.
