The project will see CO2 from enfinium’s flagship Ferrybridge, West Yorkshire incinerator captured and transported to Navigator’s Teesside storage facility which will then be transported offshore for permanent storage.
The challenge
To address potential risks for the first of a kind transport of Carbon Dioxide, Process Risk Consulting were commissioned to chair a Hazard Identification (HAZID) and Environmental Identification (ENVID) workshop for the project to cover the entire scope from emitter take-off to connection with the downstream operators injection pipeline in order to identify potential hazards, ensuring that they are suitably protected and mitigated.
